My local MP posting about disability pride month but not using alt text on photos including ones of text is a pretty good example of what his general approach is.
When I was younger I volunteered at an organisation where asylum seekers also volunteered. I was openly queer then too and never felt unsafe there. I have a piece of art on my wall from a kurdish guy who exhibited his work in the building. Mobs forcing people out of their homes is far scarier.
