Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

Amazing use of stats Sharron Davies thinks 50% of TW are in prison for sexual offences. James believes 47% of TW are suicides. Sharron is so worried about the other 3% taking part in Park run, that she’s threatening to sue Surely there must be less than 30 TW left - how many jog? 🤣

Sharron Davies HoL... A ‹ @sharrond62
Over 50% of trans identifying men are in prison for sexual assault against women. And statistically their figures are higher for sexual assault than non trans identifying males. So we must must must must deal in truth not an ideology that puts men above female safeguarding.James Dockery
@jdockerz86
Also 47% off themselves, it's an ideology that stops procreation, stops lives, makes others harder. The ideology is dangerous, not just to themselves but others

1/🧵 I really like Lesley Irvine’s straightforward metaphor for the Scottish Ministers, hate groups are attempting to subvert the Equality Act 2010, turning Schedule 3, which was meant as a shield, into a sword, leaving trans people with nothing to defend themselves against this supposed new sword.

A reminder that the public consultation on proposed changes to the service specification for children and young people's gender services, which launched in August is still open, so there is still time to share your views if you haven’t already. www.engage.england.nhs.uk/consultation...

We sent an FOI request to the Supreme Court asking several questions, including communications relating to the selection of Lord Hodge on the panel for the FWS case. We also asked if any conflicts of interest were considered. 1/

The idea that the judiciary is apolitical based on the fact that they don't speak on political matters is one of the fig leaves of the British establishment. It allows them to historically and contemporaneously make political judgements while those behind them can be protected from some of it.

1/🧵 Well, Hodge is the vice president of the court, so he can walk in and take his seat on any panel he likes. In the judiciary, seniority rules. And it was Robert Buckland, the then tory justice minister, who handed him the power to tip the scales.

The Council of Europe has warned that the UK gov’s treatment of trans people may breach human rights law. This must be a wake up call. We’ve seen an increase in hostility towards trans in recent years. Everyone deserves dignity, safety, & respect - that includes trans people.

To those who advocate violence and perpetrating criminal damage, I am reminded of the words of Millicent Fawcett. “I can never feel that setting fire to houses and churches and litter boxes and destroying valuable pictures really helps to convince people that women ought to be enfranchised.”

🧵Phillip Michael Hook, tenured art professor at the University of South Dakota, can keep his job until at least the temporary injunction hearing on Oct. 8, based upon a federal court ruling. Hook made comments about Charlie Kirk, which aroused politicians to call for his firing.
