Alien Metal really wasn't bad but it isn't a very good representation of the genres its doing which is really a let down given what King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is usually good at, it just makes me want to listen to better breakbeat rave/breakbeat hardcore kinda stuff. it's like a 6/10 I fear.

This is my King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard Tierlist if there's some kind of skip function on your auto reader this is pretty long description so feel free to. The Best: Polygondwanaland, Laminated Denim, Murder of the Universe Tier 1: I'm in Your Mind Fuzz, Sketches of Brunswick East, Chunky Shrapnel, Omnium Gatherum, Fishing For Fishies, Nonagon Infinity, Changes, and PetroDragonic Apocalypse Tier 2: The Silver Cord (extended), Quarters!, Gumboot Soup, K.G.L.W. , Ice Death Planets Lungs Mushrooms & Lava, Infest The Rats Nest, Butterfly 3000 and Eyes Like The Sky. Tier 3: Flying Microtonal Banana, Phantom Island, Float Along/Fill Your Lungs, Paper Mache Dream Balloon, Flight B741, Made in Timeland, 12 Bar Bruise. Final Tier: Alien Metal, Oddments, Willoughby's Beach, Mango Sticky Rice. Overall you can kind of get a vibe for how its constructed because frankly the worst of these is only a 5/10 which is perfectly average. It makes me sad when they air closer to that because most of the time I feel they really excel one way or another at each genre they dip their arms into. Maybe a cleaner Psych rock revisit could be in order, or a bash at French House, but overall I really just want something wholly new next after it seems projects have kind of been stuck in 2 modes for the band "classic rock" and "heavy electronic experimentation"The cover for alien metal, 3D modelled, printed and hand painted by Jason Galea (JJ Cool Juice) it's this strange little transparent head of a melted lobster thing with a small alien in the forehead piloting it. I think I prefer the version with red eyes as opposed to black eyes that is used in the music visualizers.

Finished the movie. It's *fine.* Milly was great. I liked some of the production design for the aliens. Never fully comes together, though, and never feels like the comic or its True Grit inspiration. Should've been so much better but it feels weirdly aimless despite having direct source material

We should be arguing for the elimination of sports institutions that reaffirm gender hierarchy by economically disenfranchise women athletes to help make male superiority see natural rather then constructed; rather then simply argue for trans women’s inclusion into that hierarchy.
