We need indie publications more than ever, and we need to support them as much as possible Seek out zines, papers, essays, news sites etc. that promote marginalised voices. Be conscious of your news consumption and refuse mainstream media's chokehold on the information we receive.

I'm taking a mini break from writing for a few days because I finished the first draft of TestWIP!!! I've also figured out the problem with the vampire/werewolf wip and I've reworked the outline accordingly. But for the rest of the week, I'm putting my various docs on pause.

That'll mean paying a fuck ton for gas, but whereas before I didn't have a car so paying for the bus and min. $100 monthly to be an insured driver wasn't a big deal Now, it's just not economical to do that.

hate to be a realist on main but jesus christ, scoob i can't stress enough, the best way to help an indie artist is to REC THE WORK. i have literally never in my life gotten a new subscriber by saying "i'm too poor to live" but i DO get new readers when someone excitedly reviews my books
