When remembering 9/11 it's more than a little appropriate to remember the human costs of the US-led "War on Terror" Approximately 4 million dead and 40 million displaced. Their names deserve to be remembered and read out loud too.
By chance, is one of those lessons "don't start illegal wars"? Is another perhaps "don't commit war crimes"?
I tried a spam & fried egg sandwich today for the first time. I'm almost ashamed at how good it tasted.

Saying a country should fight a war "for public health & against poverty” and to "save lives rather than take them" should not be a controversial statement.
Bad things happening to powerful, terrible people would fix me.
