It's Saturday. There is no reason for me to be awake at 4:30am. Apparently progesterone helps me sleep soundly, but I guess 6 hours is all I need. Do some people actually sleep 8 hours?

Rain! Real rain for the first time in a long time! I just want to stay in bed and listen to it...but I must go to work and remove the tape outlining four pickleball courts from the gym floor. #DelightOfTheDay... rain...not the pickleball tape.

There are some 20-somethings playing basketball. And 50 youth and adults playing disc golf as the culmination of our 1st disc golf club. I raised $27k and put in countless hours to build these opportunities...AND PEOPLE ARE USING THEM! This brings my joy. #DelightOfTheDay

Every time I go outside to water my plants after dark, some little night time critter scares the crap out of me. Last week it was a sphinx moth. (Super cool but startled me when it zoomed close to my face in the dark.) Tonight it was a huge toad that I didn't know was living in my petunias. 😂

On the way home with "Jake!" They were unable to draw blood. Exam, weight, etc were all good. We're cutting his meloxicam to every other day and adding gabapentin to keep the old man comfortable. Then monitor and return if sloppy, sour poops don't resolve. 🤞🤞🤞

Jake has to go to the vet today. Our doc switched clinics and is now about an hour away. I tell hubs that we are leaving between 3:45/4pm. I just called and he HASN'T LEFT THE OFFICE YET!!
