Our first day in Iceland was spectacular! The terra in Iceland is a landscape all its own. We saw where the two tectonic plates of North America and Eurasian meet inside Iceland. We went and saw geysers erupting. Gullfoss was an amazing series of waterfalls.

We're used to seeing images like this of Nazi Germany. This is what an execution looks like. It's an image that will haunt America for years to come. Alex Pretti was a nurse whose life was dedicated to saving lives. In the eyes of the world, America has become the monster it used to fight against.

In times of national crisis, the role of a POTUS is to appeal for calm. To be measured and reasoned. Be a guiding light for every American, even those who didn’t vote for you. That shouldn’t be partisan nor hard.

For everyone saying political violence has no place in this country… Remember two Democratic legislators were shot in Minnesota just this year. And America shrugged and moved on.
