Before we got an e cargo bike, this hill was a bit of a climb when hauling kids (in our Burley and Follow Me Tandem). It’s not actually hard w/ the e assist on our @bunchbike.com, but the kids still cheer me on until we get to the “purple flowers” where it levels out. ☺️

St. Paul begins clearing city’s largest homeless encampment
St. Paul police and city crews began cleanup at the city’s largest homeless encampment, at Pig’s Eye Park, on Tuesday, ahead of an announced plan to shut down the camp on Wednesday.

I’m here at the Fish Hatchery encampment in St. Paul as the city prepares to sweep the camp. St. Paul cops are stopping cars coming in but there are dozens of people that have gathered here in anticipation of the sweep in order to help camp residents and document what the city does here today.
🚨🚨🚨EHB talks MPD 🚨🚨🚨 I am extremely concerned about the impact that MPD spending will have on our property taxes and budget priorities this year. Now is the time to speak up to stop MPD cost growth from consuming the investments we need in our communities.
At dinner tonight @nissamitchell.com mentioned the cinnamon rolls she makes are ‘decadent.’ Our 10yo asked what decadent meant. I said “what do you think it means, based on the context?” Our 10yo: “ten dents?” 😆

RFK Jr's CDC reportedly scaled back foodborne disease tracking last year, removing cyclospora from mandatory reporting. The CDC also lost roughly 3,000 employees since 2025. Now a cyclosporiasis outbreak has killed 2 and sickened thousands across 45 states. "Make America Healthy Again."

Did an anyone else notice almost all of the big ‘Do Not Enter’ signs were removed from Bryant a few months ago? 36th still has one but I think almost every other block is missing one from at least 40th-Lake St (which I frequent the most). I’ve seen more drivers going the wrong way. 😔

Hey Minneapolis. Can someone explain it to me like I’m an idiot: why is MPD allowed to just spend money they don’t have and then say “we’re over budget.” And there’s never any questions that the city has to pay?

If it fits, I sits… illegally and unsafely in the protected bikelane, because there’s clearly nowhere else for a VIP (car owner) to park on this block. 🙄
