Still recruiting TTRPG creators for this bundle as we wait for the charity to get set up with Itch. Funds will go to Micronesia Climate Change Alliance, who have been funding relief shipments and distribution of food and water. DM me to join the bundle.

Indie Videogame and TTRPG Gamedev - she/her - bad poster I sometimes talk about CSM, Ultrakill and other stuff.
These recent posts are reminding me of this classic from @directsun.bsky.social. Lots of good advice on this type of adventure design over puzzledungeon.com puzzledungeon.com/designing-os...

This post is a banger - it inspired me to write up a neat bit of dungeon design tech from the ol' mental toolbox. Read Sean's blog and then check out my take here x
I agree, most recently i read winter's daughter and the bolded text and bullet points made reading it harder than if it were written normally. Reading prose is indeed fun.
My two cents—quite literally, I wrote a paragraph—about keying dungeons. To be brief: All the room keying hacks you see really aren’t necessary if your room keys are short and quick to read.
Another post I found via @elmc.at all about making the monsters in Mythic Bastionland more challenging and impactful if you have too many players.
High-Impact Enemies in Mythic Bastionland
There's been a lot of chatter about how combat in Mythic Bastionland can sometimes feel a bit too easy - especially when you have a larger ...

The other day my family asked me to run them a ttrpg for the first time cause they wanted to see what I do. I chose a system, wrote a little adventure, made a map, drew it, made all of their characters (8) and wrote everything they needed in their character sheet by hand. We didn't end up playing.
The "traditional" structure of TTRPGs puts an enormous amount of pressure on the GM to learn/refine & very little on the players. Which is somehow seen as more reasonable than spreading the load of learning/contribution across the whole table. Broader implications about community in there, y'all.
Hello Stranger, Re-introduction time! I'm Epidiah Ravachol. Perhaps you've heard of my #ttrpg work, like Dread, the horror game that uses Jenga; or Swords Without Master, the one with the tones.† I've been at this indie truly-true role-playing game publishing gig for roughly a quarter century.

Does anyone have any resources on how to make encounter tables? I need something that allows for "modular" encounter tables i.e: being able to mix "forest" with "hex full of bandits" tables and creating a single one.
What's your favorite ttrpg content creator on YouTube? I need something to watch during lunch breaks.
Okay let's give myself some positivity. - Got the most amazing person in the world as partner - Starred in a College Theater play of Cabaret - Got an award for said play - Got a haircut - Visited Scotland - Got my first job - Made friends - Started Therapy - Got a new house - Came out to my family
Quote this with what you have accomplished in 2025, no matter how big or small
God Dungeon Meshi is so good. I feel like a huge inspiration to me about fantasy ecology (one of my favorite things in the world) comes from this manga.
Dungeon Meshi is a huge inspiration for HIS MAJESTY THE WORM--this page especially. The dungeon isn't just about room dimensions and skeletons, it's conversations with companions. The Bonds system in the game tracks how characters feel about each other, and incentivizes this kind of roleplay.
Just realized my name here is spelled incorrectly because up untill very recently I didn't know how I wanted it to be written and I every one of my socails has it spelled differently hahah
A question for the ttrpg/osr community I've been pondering for a while. Why do we need this many monsters? Could it be possible to make a dungeon with just 1 type of monster?
My ideal feed on bluesky would be something like: 30% ttrpg blogs 20% videogame dev 20% art 20% t-girl posting 9% irls 1% nsfw But if I ever like something slightly horny it just becomes my whole feed.
This for you tab actually works, love to see it bsky.app/profile/did:...
Anyways hopefully I can do a ten candles game this winter for funsies
Discussing with my family what movie to watch yesterday we ended up watching "The Road". It might not be very christmas-y but at least it was wintery

A gift, for the festive season, my first ever an OSR. You can tell its an OSR because its made entirely out of offcuts from B2 The Keep on the Borderlands. Its compatible with many games and also incompatible with at least 3, probably. juniperc.itch.io/bn-2-the-kee...

I've been reading #HeroesoftheBorderlands and comparing it to the original module and, surprisingly, there are so many things I like more. But sadly it doesn't work because what #D&D is and what it wants to be are two things completely incompatible.
Finally finished a Players handbook prototype to test my game and it totals only 20 pages. I'm excited to start the QA sessions
Really enjoying sketching out monster concepts for Assault on Castle Nachtenthal... Most won't make the final game (largely due to space) but really helps me with the writing... Also the new tablet was a fantastic investment (new S Pen is a massive upgrade) 😁 #ttrpg
