Affiliates, be aware that these campaigns often have *very bad* rates. The max payout, usually less than $1/ccv anyway, is often unattainable because of fine print on the “completed views” rate. We talk about this in the partner discord a lot, but some streamers might not know how bad offers are.

Twitch is opening the Sponsorship Dashboard to all Affiliates and adding an integration with Wehype for third-party campaigns (seemingly replacing StreamElements).

Streamers: if you have opted out of Twitch's genAI training policy, please consider adding the 'aiOptedOut' tag to your streams. It will help easily indicate safe spaces to myself, and other streamers/viewers who don't want to spend time in or raid into spaces that haven't opted out 💜 #twitch #genai

🚨 Twitch users, turn off this setting if you don't agree with Amazon training their AI on your Twitch content. I think it's so predatory that they opt you in by default, and they have put it in your account privacy settings, not in the creator dashboard or channel settings. Not impressed Twitch.

In gamedev, if you're using a placeholder asset, best practices involve marking it as placeholder so garishly and offensively clearly PLACEHOLDER that you can't possibly miss it. Also flagging that asset in the dev process so it can be identified quickly before the final build.
