3D artist, likely sleepy

I'm so tired of seeing people tracing slop and pass it off as their own. Art is not just visual, you have to put an idea, a feeling, your soul into it. Art is a journey that starts at the sketch, and if you skip it, then you are not an artist. Draw, fail, improve, and enjoy the journey!

Random question for blender geo-nodes people, does anyone know how to get the perimeter edge from a face selection set? I'm wanting to bevel only across the edges of the red material boundary but at the moment it's processing every contained edge.

I've tried putting up blackout blinds to try and mitigate the heatwave but now my flat smells of hot plastic, I'm not sure this is healthy D:

Our feature artist/tutorial today is this AWESOME animation by the talented @ameliabothe! Note how anticipation of WEIGHT SHIFT is established in that opening pose, and how the secondary elements of the wings and tail STREAMLINE during the roll, before opening back out for the final resting pose.

I keep plucking away at the head shape. Getting there! Starting to get harder and harder to see that it used to be a Moonfang.

Hihi! I'm Liz! 🐲 I'm an indie gamedev, psych nerd, reptile keeper, and avid commissioner! Varan is my sona - I'm them, and they're me! 🎨: @jeniak.bsky.social - Thanks to them, I've been so comfortable in my own skin... fur? Feathers? 💜🪽 Want to know more about my characters? Look below! 👇🧵

A reference sheet for an anthropomorphic furred dragon named Varan. Their primary color is a gradient of light to dark pinks from their head to legs. Their underbelly, face, and ends of their arms are a bright white. They have large wings of somewhat raggedy feathers. Starting on their head, with a mowhawk-like shape, is a violet-tipped mane that goes all the way down their back, ending in a tuft of similar fur at their tailtip. Varan also has dark purple curled horns with a bright sheen & large claws with similar colors.
