the idea phase is the easiest and least valuable part of professional creativity. read the first draft of the first Star Wars if you doubt me Great art is made in the grinding, often miserable collision between the ethereal substance of an idea and the mud and blood and friction of reality

this is the most annoying type of Star Trek fan. the guys who adopt science fantasies about FTL travel being possible rather than focus on Roddenberry's real message (you should be having more and weirder sex, possibly with dolphins)
"We need you to be a team player, Sartha. Your life outside these doors? Doesn't matter. Whatever stresses you have, leave them at home. You seem confused. Here, let me help you. Associate. On The Clock."
It's lesbian day so I'm reposting my two favorite sapphic Culture special circumstances agents that @thecore34.bsky.social drew for me and @butterflyriver.bsky.social They flip their genders around from time to time ofc, but in this case they're in wlw mode
more lore document stuff I'm inventing a new genre, I call it "photocopier horror"
also i played an angel-wife NPC, who gained Void one hour into her debut, realized he was transgender, and is now going to turn into a harpy
