The brightest minds of progressive media & policy have come together to demand that Governor Andy Beshear shoot the monster chewing the power lines.
Someone inclined to be mischievous might observe a certain symmetry between the view that removing American intervention would solve the ills of the international system and the idea of the self-regulating market economy.
It’s kind of funny their vision was/is “abolish governmental agencies that cynically disguise capitalist control as aid & journalism” & not “use governmental agencies to expose & combat capitalist control through journalism & aid.”

The second strategic failure is that the American people (re)elected a worthless fucking moron like Donald Trump, who is boundlessly confident despite knowing nothing about anything and so asked the US military to do the impossible for no reason at all because he got lucky in Venezuela.
What is in the screenshot at left has been the argument of dozens of books at this point & hundreds of articles.
