Check out this amazing preprint from my @isbscience.org colleague @annabiosys.bsky.social's lab! Gupta et al. captured the entire infection cycle of an uncharacterized phage through single-cell RNA-seq of a B. fragilis population (capturing cells at different points in the infection cycle). 🤩
