I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

By many accounts a truly decent human being. RIP. Dr. Alan Grant is my favorite thing about the whole Jurassic Park series. Grumpy scientist forced to interact with people & computers, but who lights up with wonder & a deep love of the things he studies, even when they’re trying to kill him.

My favorite Sam Neil fact will always be that he designed a future Australian flag that replaces the union jack with the aboriginal flag for Event Horizon and insisted the film use it.

I really feel for girls being told by transphobes that no matter what they do in life, if any boy competed against them, he'd win easily. They argue it for everything. Darts, Snooker, Quizzing, and now Irish Dancing.

I make myself coffee & air fry 2 steak fries for the dog. One for his morning pills & one for later. I tear the fry into small pieces for his 4 teeth & then we play FF Roulette. 5 pieces have pills in them, tonight it will be 3. He’s onto us with all other methods, so 🤞fries keep working

OH MY GOD GUYS okay so priests who want back in have to find a bishop willing to vouch for them, swear fealty to Vatican II and then HAND-WRITE THE POPE AN APOLOGY LETTER (I gues so he knows they didn’t use AI? 😂) and are on probation for 1-3 years this is ten times spicier than I even thought
