Swedish game developer focusing primarily on game design. Formerly at Thunderful & Tarsier Studios, now at Sad Owl Studios :) Made drill bird, am making more drill bird 🐦 Let's make dumb stuff ⭐✨

After procrastinating with new features for a long time, I finally locked in and made a solid dent on the level design for drill birds next update. I am channelling "let's punish the player" and having a lot of fun - hope the players like the tone as well 😏🪦

yo any recs for places to listen to music online? Spotify does not pay their artists and youtube keeps trying to get me addicted to Shorts. Or maybe I should just buy some music and only listen to stuff I've bought like an adult

My friend @forestherd.bsky.social released the Steam for their game Letters Past. You play as a cute postman on a journey to deliver a letter Played an early version and it was super goooood, do check it out & wishlist if you like bite-sized narrative games 😊 store.steampowered.com/app/4248270/...

Currently bracing myself for Drill Birds release in November. I've found that making games demands so much love and work, that the ego will never be happy regardless of reception. I'm trying to focus more on having fun in the process and seeing releasing games as a sometimes painful bonus😅

disappointing game launch grief. very real among game devs, rarely public. i’m seeing one unfold publicly now, but don’t wanna draw attention to it. it’s sad. i want to say it’ll be ok, but in truth it won’t.

I am experiencing bigtime analysis paralysis for what to focus on now that I've finished Drillbird. Do I make more drillbird updates, start a new game or just focus on portfolio pieces to apply for jobs? there's so much one could do, and pressure to spend the time wisely ☠️

I'm working on a portfolio site and was wondering if there's any game or level designers out there who'd like to share theirs? I find it tricky to showcase game design process while keeping the reader hooked

Today I'm coming back to life after the #Drillbird release and will start working on a tiny patch to adress some of the issues that has been found post launch. If you've played the game and had issues with it or features you'd love to see, gimme a poke and I will see what I can do!
