Every time Marathon tried to tutorialize me about something that had too many proper nouns or was too complicated for me to get at 11:30pm, I just marveled at the pretty UI, assumed I'd figure it out later, and wandered off to shoot my gun. So far the strategy has worked. Game's pretty good.
