The book that stated this, was debunked and withdrawn by the Dutch publisher in 2022 because the writers' study was inadequate. Actually, there is no proof Van den Bergh was guilty. This was a scientific scandal here in The Netherlands!

This is the Monument of Neutrality, in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, 246 ft tall, built in 1998 on the orders of President Saparmurat Niyazov to commemorate the country's official position of neutrality. Then, it was bombed in a conflict. Okay - that last part is made-up, but wouldn't it be wild if true?
