U.S. M6-12-8 Dog Gas Mask, c.1944 Issued during WWII through Korea - very scarce mask as few were made. They were almost used in Vietnam, but existing stocks were in too poor of condition. This was on the BF's 'holy grail' list for quite some time, and now we finally managed to secure one ^///^
A new addition to Le Grande Fromage series! Neufchรขtel! A Cheese said to be made in the shape of heart as a gift to Norman soldiers during the 100 Years War. However despite its multi hundred year old roots, it wasn't regulated until 1969.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to mention how proud I am of the shading on pipe in the background and the water stain details on the concrete around it and I'm a little sad it had to be hidden behind us in the final drawing xD

I got my hooves on an early pattern M40A1 second skin, since they're starting to get uncommon For context, the M40's made of silicone, which isn't good at resisting blister agents, so these butyl 'second skins' are needed I just love the design of these early skins with the hood stop :3 #gasmask

Neufchรขtel cheese has been in production for nearly 1000 years! And was foudn to be produced in a heart shape as a gift to soldiers during the 100 Years War. Despite this lengthy history of this particular type of cheese, it was only regulated starting 1969 by the AOC.

One thing I thought of is eliminating the comms port from the outlet and just having a separate add-on accessory mic for the side port. Having the connectors integrated into the outlet housing invites the risk of corrosion, plus with a front voicemitter, passive comms are more convenient. #gasmask

Thinking about a very bizarre gas mask today - the Connell Mask was a U.S. experimental design from WWI, made of brass with a foam latex face seal. It was one of the first masks to carry the filter on the back of the head. 1000 were made between March to July 1918, roughly 5 survive today. #gasmask
Having a pool on the bridge deck of our ship and being able to swim while staring at an abandoned industrial site may be the luxury peak of my career.
