This will sound very nerdy, but when I was a kid, I revered the Supreme Court. If they could rule unanimously against segregation in 1954—when the two other branches of government would *never* have been brave enough—I thought they're the lone voice of good. That is all trashed now. They're garbage.

They’re telling me a great empire will be destroyed if I attack Persia. Even the oracles who don’t like me very much, very nasty, they all said to me, “Sir, it’s one of the great empires, and it’ll be destroyed. And all because you attacked Persia.” That’s what they’re telling me.

She never lived to see this moment, but it’s worth remembering that none of this would have happened without Virginia Giuffre. She had the courage to speak out against power and privilege when it was just her word against Andrew’s. Thanks to her, justice & accountability may finally have its day.

"If everybody always lies to you, the consequence is not that you believe the lies, but rather that nobody believes anything any longer...a people that no longer can believe anything cannot make up its mind...with such a people you can then do what you please."

We held a vigil for Renee Good and ICE victims Friday evening in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Even in the cold steady rain, more than 40 people showed up with signs and candles. It felt good to connect with others who want to take our country back from the thugs.

NEW: @CDCgov hit hard by massive firings that several staff describe to me as a “bloodbath.” Among those RIFd: —leadership of the center for immunization and respiratory diseases; —leadership of global health center —leadership of the measles outbreak response; 1/4

"A future president, even dumber than you, will allow Qatar, the country that harbored Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the plane attacks in NY, PA, and DC today, and whose royal family will help him escape capture by the US, to build a military base on US soil to train Qataris to fly jets."

If I never see the word "crackdown" again, it'll be fine with me. Especially since it always seems to mean "tantrum" or "hissy fit" in current usage, and to have nothing to do with the rule of law.

Ossoff on RFK Jr: "Absolutely he should resign. And he never should've been confirmed to begin with... in any normal Senate, he never would've gotten so much as a hearing. This is someone who throughout his public life has embraced just about every piece of quackery & pseudoscience he's come across"

Ossoff: "There is at some point is going to be a reckoning for all of this. These folks who are working at these private prison companies who are on Kristi Noem's staff right now, they are at some point going to have to testify under oath about what is happening in the facilities they're running."

Families in Gaza are starving to death. Meanwhile, Trump & Netanyahu are using US taxpayer dollars to replace international aid orgs in Gaza with mercenaries — leading to even more deaths. ENOUGH. I led 20 Senators in calling on Trump to stop supporting this barbarity:

Trump’s corrupt DOJ is going to put out a statement full of lies by sex trafficker Maxwell who is trying to get out of prison, while refusing to release the statements of the victims and witnesses which would prove she’s lying. DOJ is now siding with sex traffickers over victims.
