At about noon today, Broadway between Cambie and Alberta was closed. This 6-month closure has the potential to cause delays on one of the busiest bus corridors in North America, a corridor that is on the verge of being upgraded to rail rapid transit. movementyvr.ca/broad...

We've been campaigning hard for a low-income transit pass: - 2,400+ emails sent to MLAs - 50+ organizations signed on - over a dozen media mentions - beautiful art, posters and zines - a rally coming up on July 1st - a Vancouver Council motion, soon Langley, and possibly more municipalities?!?
We truly lucked out with our interns. Mandeep has been with us for the past year as a volunteer, and since May, as a staff. It is hard to overstate the impact she has had on our team and our community. We are going to miss her. Thank you, Mandeep, for everything you have given to this work.
