Pretty sure in former times, us citizens expected our Govts to REACT TO WORLD EVENTS AND USE THE ENORMOUS RESOURCES AT THEIR FINGERTIPS TO MINIMISE THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL IMPACT but what do I know? Ps: Peters, you are worse than wasted space. You are evil.
Sometimes I wonder about the impact of politicians and media treating Ardern with such misogynistic contempt for years on end and it’s pretty frightening to consider that all that energy didn’t die when Ardern left, and is now funneled into policy, and misogyny/ racism is normalised (and rewarded).

UPDATE: FYI after reading these Wikipedia posts, it’s pretty certain the NZ First plan is based on Hitler’s one, and not Stalin’s. The Nazi version was - of course - obsessed with racial purity (as per NZF’s plan) whereas Stalin’s was just “breed breed breed”

Not many people know this but Halley's Comet isn't named after Bill Haley and the Comets. It's named after Halle Berry.
Haven't read Mein Kampf but I have read Shirer's The Rise & Fall of the Third Reich, & this "remigration" poison is straight out of Hitler's playbook, pure & simple. The world fell for it then, realising too late the power of simple answers to complex issue & problems. We can't let it happen again.
