Wife and kids are out of town for a couple weeks doing family stuff, which means I am once again considering streaming video games. If you would like to see me play Overwatch Stadium with a bunch of arguably unnecessary commentary, let me know!

My game client crashes and I get a temp suspension from queueing, meanwhile I haven't had a game in a week where someone didn't leave in a huff, but sure, I'm the problem.

Apparently everyone is taking a quick break from work to play Overwatch.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

A desperately needed delightful read.

There is an artist named Mr Doodle and he coveres his house in doodles and its kind od impressive but it also fills me with extreme anxiety. There is no where for your eyes to rest. Its so overstimulating to me. Its like the visual equivilant of loud music you can never turn off.

OK, Freja is not happening. Playing some alternative builds of Soldier. AP Rockets is fun, very bursty, not sure it's better than the mini visor build.

11 of the last 15 games have been 3-0 wins or loses. 3 games were 3-1 wins/loses, and only 1 games was a 3-2 win. This matchmaking fucking blows chunks...

There will always be heroes in Overwatch that simply rely on mechanical aiming, which I will always be bad at, and there is no way for me to play let alone enjoy them. This realization has helped contextualize video gaming for me:

I am in in an extremely foul mood today, please keep me off social media until I calm down.

In my mind, Salute Your Shorts was on TV forever, but in reality there was like 18 total episodes. I think about that show almost everyday.

Here's an important moment: Your initial reaction is probably "republicans are dumb". Which is funny. But they are not dumb, they are absolutely weaponizing their narrow-minded supporters. It's not funny, this is harmful anti-trans rhetoric. Don't focus on the dumb, focus on the bigotry.

Me not being shocked or upset that a rancid, hateful bigot finally pushed someone too far is not the same as me wishing harm on others. Also: this guy literally said, on multiple occasions, that gun violence is an acceptable price for 2nd amendment freedoms, so actually he should be fine with this.
