I want another red bull but I can only have one a day
My body reacts to what should be a pleasant, light breeze as if it's hellacious Arctic winds tearing my skin off Very cool
This is why I loathe genre names like "metroidvania" and "rogue-like" Tell me what I'm doing in the game, not another game that it's like. Stop referencing other games on your store page!!!! Your work should stand separate.
This recent trend of games listing their direct influences by name is deeply weird. And probably not very legally advisable! It would be very unusual for a film to do this, unless quoting a review. The *first line* of this game's store page is "The Stanley Parable with a loaded rifle."
My best friend, who is also as insane as me: if the bomb ever drops, let's plan on meeting up in the afterlife I'm so glad we are on the same wavelength 🤝
i know votes are still being counted but the more i look at this michigan senate map the more it becomes clear that it kind of looks like a mitten
that scene in spongebob where the jellyfish set squidwards clarinet on fire and dance around it is so pivotal to my personality
Today, August 4, 2026, is the setting of Ray Bradbury’s short story “There Will Come Soft Rains” about a fully automated house continuing on after the family who lived there and the world around it died in a nuclear blast.
okay hivemind brother's birthday is saturday and I don't have a gift yet help he likes his shitbox cars, beer, his cats, trailer park boys, breaking bad, and peppers
The NPCs in Burning Springs are too rude to be Ohioans tbh
Because he is interested in things diametrically opposed to his safety such as: 1. The road 2. Eating nightshade plants
I hate to be disagreeable, but why would anyone put a lead on a cat? Because they still see cats as human accessories, and not as sentient creatures with their own intrinsic value, and the same fundamental drive to live by their own leave as we do. Lift the veil. Be awed by their true beauty.
Market Day used to have these frozen root beer float cups that were root beer flavored ice with a vanilla ice cream core and I still think about them 20+ years later
Anyways if you're going to school for game development, very gently but urgently I am telling you to do something else. The academic scene is cruel, misguided, and toxic. They do not want you to make a living off of your education. You are better off going into debt for something else.
I've replaced my morning news checking with an episode of SpongeBob and I feel much better
Working in emergency management during COVID completely broke me. I don't think I've recovered honestly because it's now the majority opinion that COVID was a hoax/the lockdowns weren't necessary/school closures were bad... Meanwhile I had to figure out body storage and disposal.
it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy
As someone who worked professionally in the realm of how to survive a nuclear bomb, and someone who does believe it is both possible and worthwhile, I personally don't want to as a disabled person. When it takes 20+ pills daily to keep me operating at like 40% capacity, I can't do the apocalypse.
I googled pangolins once like a year ago and Facebook is still showing me pangolin conservation ads
