induction burners are pretty sweet. and when manufactures start putting batteries in all appliances, then people will see how great battery tech has gotten.

To the extent there are problems with The System, they’re largely (1) poor people suffer, (2) women suffer, and (3) people of color suffer. These are all things RFK likes about The System. To give him credit for “shaking things up” is to out yourself as either a eugenicist or a dumbfuck. Or both.

There are entire buildings where people go there for hours a day for free and most would be barred entrance. They are called schools. I'm tired of people pretending to not understand society.

Deadass, no genocide is of lesser importance but supporters of Israel have undue influence on our domestic politics. Not only do we fund and arm their atrocities, they prevent the election of politicians that would advocate for social programs that are found in Israel
This is so dishonest.
This seems fair. I would only add if the market can't support a community's need then what is the solution? If grocery stores are not profitable enough to maintain then a state sponsored one just seems like a baseline solution.

Since “defunding the pillars of society in order to save money” and “giving all the money to police and wealthy pricks” are core tenets of conservatism, I think as a society we ought to consider “conservative” a dangerous indecent thing to be, and those who identify as such should pay a social cost.

Harris did better among self described liberals than Biden. She lost ground with *moderates.*
Battery technology is so fascinating. They making batteries out of salt! And solid state batteries are real.

There's this very visceral and convincing version of the world that they had envisioned that would require some very painful moral choices to adapt to, and it turns out "batteries + solar" are basically able to fix the problem.

Since this country has to do good things the dumbest way possible when we do get UBI it'll be a study that just never ends and we won't bring it up.

Being a Republican is getting to run through a house, throwing lit matches all about and never having to connect that with your burning house. It's the easiest thing in the world to be. There is zero accountability and you'll have opponents yell at their allies for not embracing you.
I'm glad someone is pointing this out and it should be the national platform. Like hey, our entire economy is a collection of cartels that don't compete and screw you. Let's do something about it

I think class based politics on the left has become a cover for white male identity politics. Just colorblind enough for plausible deniability but very much an attempt to recenter themselves in a multiracial coalition.
