Grouchy old fart, enjoys books, birds, baroque music, alliteration and, of course, spiders (but then, who doesn’t?). Semi-skilled at a number of unimportant things like game-playing, computer surgery and natural history story-telling. Lazy.

El-Sayed: "Once a government agency like ICE is told it has impunity to do the worst things and violate the highest law of the land, which is the Constitution itself, I don't think you can reform or retrain. I think we need to start from scratch ... I think we need to abolish it."

Waking up to Sharia Law in NYC is crazy. Knicks won, crime is down, 2,000 toddlers are going to school for free, parents got “date night” with nyc babysitters, they’re building housing on city land, small businesses are saving money and selling ice cream. Its sunny out i should go get one.

The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to protect the only true minority - the individual. It limits the governments power to harm the individual. The whole constitution is designed to limit the governments power.

Warning: the President of the United States is kidnapping American citizens off the streets of blue states. Some of them return —most do not. Some are murdered in concentration camps owned by the President’s cronies. All of it is one big fat crime. None of our electeds will stop him. Will you?

So, my bank account was compromised recently, as I found out when somebody used PayPal to take money out as “charges”. I had to delete the account and get a new one, which wasn’t a huge problem, but changing all the online payment options to my new debit card was annoying. But then I realized:

If any of you are stupid like me and still using #PayPal, I strongly recommend you terminate that account with extreme prejudice and use some different method of money transfer.

If any of you are stupid like me, and have linked any website payment to your bank account, delink it immediately and delete that information from the website! Use a debit or credit card only!

Can't be the first to say this, but (and yay UEFA - brilliant) this works equally well if you swap out "football" for maybe "water" or "a stable climate". Look at me being the revolutionary socialist. "No one has the moral authority to sell what they merely hold in trust for the next generation."

The moment external investors acquire ownership interests in
FIFA competitions, football changes forever. Commercial return becomes a permanent obligation. Investor expectations become a daily pressure. From that moment onwards, every decision on the international calendar, every decision on competition formats and every decision shaping the future of football is no longer driven by what best serves the game, but by what best serves shareholders.
This model has no place in world football. Football's future cannot be dictated by the expectations of those whose first duty is to maximise financial return. Nor can the interests of national associations, leagues, clubs, players and supporters become subordinate to investor returns. Football cannot mortgage its future for financial gain.
Europe's position is clear. We will never lend this model our legitimacy. No one has the moral authority to sell what they merely hold in trust for the next generation.

The GOP has a long history of “odd” results that don’t match the polls. Those now usually take the form of a surprising GOP surplus of votes for an individual, just over the limit requiring an automatic recount. We can beat Musk’s machine-based chicanery with paper ballots and many, many votes.

Texans, don't let this poll fool you. You must get out the vote in Nov. Don't take anything for granted. Vote! Vote! Vote! New poll shows Talarico leading Paxton by three points, 51-48, and holding strong leads among key constituencies, including independent voters. bit.ly/4wabnYs
