I enjoyed Georgia Oakley’s dark and wild take on Sense and Sensibility. It still has its moments of humour and Esme Creed-Miles turns in a beautiful performance. Glad they really leaned into what an immature fuckboi Willoughby is too!Gorgeous, painterly cinematography by Arnoud Potier.

Star Trek is 60 and The Voyage Home is 40 and showing in cinemas now. I revisited the film for its anniversary www.scifinow.co.uk/reviews/star... 🖖🐋🩵 A pleasure in which i disappeared down a Leonard Nimoy YouTube interview rabbit hole. So charismatic!

I am a VERY newly annointed single mum and the circumstances leading to this newfound status have been really ugly - deeply unpleasant, upsetting and destabilising. If you've ever enjoyed my books, blu-ray work or horror documentaries, now is the time to help a sister out!

My 2026 has been a divorce-shaped Stygian nightmare of housing insecurity, drifting between Airbnbs, couchsurfing + housesitting. But the goddess just blessed me with my own tiny apartment! I need to move/furnish it for myself + kid almost from scratch: a humble call for help if you can to do so!

First time watch of King of New York and wow! Walken’s dancing and entire performance is dazzling. Ratcatcher is such an impressive debut by Lynne Ramsay…It has so much to say about family, social mobility and housing as does I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning it’s one of the best films of the year
