Look, I'm going to post this mini-rant without naming the person who said it. (It's an author who seems to be doing well with their new release. Don't want to get into it.) If you have to twist yourself into a mental pretzel explaining whether you write IR or Black romance, you're doing it wrong.

I personally want straight up gold bricks, slave ship ledgers released and digitized so I can trace my ancestry back to the continent, the names and family trees of slavers and their descendants so I can know EXACTLY who owes me money, and the absolute dissolution of all settler colonies.
