Agreed. Madonna was a little before my time so I never did a deep dive on her music until recently and…there’s isn’t much there to write home about. A good singer, a great performer, and a cultural icon, no doubt, but where’s the generation-defining pop music?

everyone has already noted how compromised LLMs are in the research process, but fewer people acknowledging that editing is a central part of the creative/imaginative process. handing that over to AI will hurt you — probably in the short term, but def in the long term

If you include researching and editing as part of the overall process, there are LLM-based tools that can reduce your workload and leave more time for the actual writing. That’s why some people use it.

I love arguing about speed limits with people on this site because I know the average user age is mid fifties and there's a nonzero chance that I'm giving someone a heart attack that otherwise would have been slowing me down by going five miles an hour under the speed limit in the passing lane.
