Bavarian rules: The kids are in bed sick with fever and repeated vomiting due to the virus that's going around. That's manageable. But the school demands a doctor's note and the doctor demands that the kids visit the doctor today to get that note.

Oh man I just find this deeply & utterly incomprehensible. Reading aloud to my children was a top-three life experience for me. I was gutted when they got old enough & no longer wanted it. I still miss it. It is both intensely pleasurable & easily the best thing you can do for your kids.

I don't think people realize how certain a CDU/AFD coalition is if nothing changes. It's not certain which party will lead that coalition. I don't think people realize how catastrophic that will be.

Merz ist vollständig im orwellschen Neusprech angekommen. Merz jetzt: "Wir werden mit der AfD nicht zusammenarbeiten. Vorher nicht, nachher nicht, niemals.“ Sagt einer, der letzte Woche wahnhaft mit Ansage und Anlauf mit der AfD die Republik erpressen wollte und dessen Partei 1:1 wie die AfD klingt.
