The voice acting in the OoT remake is worse than the visuals. And I don’t love the visuals. Why does everything sound like a bad anime dub? And why do so many people like bad anime dubs?

I know it may seem like hyperbole and I’m sure others will disagree but I truly believe that if it wasn’t for nostalgia and how popular DBZ was back then, the original Funimation dub would be thought of the same way we think of 4Kids One Piece. For me, it’s on the same level of bad and disrespectful

This is a good response and I’m glad it happened relatively quickly. However, there’s no way the GDQ folks didn’t know that Saudi Arabia bought EVO. That they’d try to form a connection with one of the other biggest public events in gaming is not hard to guess. The trust will be hard to restore.

If we put aside the discourse on what ML is "supposed" to be, and just focus on the execution of this one toy, I think I can distill my feelings on ML Ironhide into one sentence: ML Arcee blends in with other 86 toys way more than ML Ironhide fits with 84 guys (original or ML versions).
I will have to sit on it more but my gut reaction is that Missing Link Ironhide is Bad. That’s a modern transformer that just turns into the G1 alt mode.
