I got selected to go to a conference in Hunan province in China with other students in my university. I’ll be giving a short lecture on long acting injectable ART v. Standard ART regimens in patients with medication adherence difficulties.

Coming home from work yesterday in downtown Pittsburgh felt extremely dystopian. Everything blurred in gray, the smell of burnt wires in the air, and the vast amount of smoke making a sunny day look as if it were about to storm. Yet, people were still partying at Picklesburgh as if this is normal.
I’m gonna applaud people when I see them graffitiing the bridges now. Fuck the police.
Allegheny County Government@alleghenycounty.bsky.social · 3w agoGraffiti on our bridges is a persistent problem. It can damage the structures, detract from their appearance, is costly to remove, & is illegal. Please don’t deface our bridges, and call 9‑1‑1 if you see graffiti in progress.
