I tend to consider myself more on the analytical side and alot of times tend to dismiss more abstract nuances of team building. Yelich is tough because he clearly isn't producing enough. But he's also the leader of the team. How would the team react if the Brewers traded for another DH? I'm not sure

Moving past Skubal… The Brewers’ *real* conundrum at the deadline was this: In a vacuum, the spot to upgrade — given production and access and cost — on offense was DH. Should they have done so? Arguably. But they were never going to. Because /gestures broadly/.

I haven't dug too deep into the Wisconsin Democratic Primary until the last week or so but the more I look into Francesca Hong, the more I think this governor's race is going to end up way closer than it should be. Dems should be able to walk to a win during these midterms given the current

As far as the deadline goes as a whole, I'd grade it a D, mainly because I'm mad about giving up Frias. The Yoho/Naylor trade was fine and I like the Senzatela move. I do think May/Romero/Senzatela will boost the Crew's pitching staff for the stretch run. But they are significant underdogs to the

Fwiw, Reid Detmers also compares similarly to Shane Drohan Detmers: 4.03 ERA, 3.35 FIP, 27 years old Drohan: 3.48 ERA, 3.03 FIP, 27 years old I wouldn't have been against adding Detmers, I just want people to realize we are talking Shane Drohan level of pitching here, not TOR arms

I think way too many people are freaking out about not getting Jose Soriano. He's a fine pitcher, but I wouldn't have given up Pena for him. For comparison Jose Soriano- 3.29 ERA(3.79 FIP), age 27, 2.5 years of control Shane Drohan- 3.48 ERA(3.03 FIP), age 27, 6 years of control

While everyone pre-pre-pre-prepares to be upset about the Brewers deadline, I did a full update on my Top 100 in the system over the last couple weeks, adding in draft picks and making some big moves up and down. I'll have blurbs on each player on Patreon in the next couple days.
