Ms.Rachel asks Why do we ignore the suffering kids already see? Mychal asks Why don’t we build spaces — libraries, classrooms, stories — where every child belongs? I ask.. Why do we fear kids’ Whys when they’re the spark of empathy, equity, and change?

Mister Rogers would worry about the children, the people who are going hungry. He cared about children, about his neighbors. He would give Ms. Rachel the biggest hug, he would proudly take her hand, and would say aloud, "Feed them all."

Praying for Venezuela For the beloved of those killed, the loved ones of the thousands still missing. For the rescuers who are gently and urgently searching, who may never be able to look at their own hands the same way ever again. For the rescue dogs who are trying their best. For the children, families, people, community who need our help They need protection, mental health support, safe water, healthcare, books, safe spaces... as they recover from this devastating tragedy.
