Went to Lytchett Fields RLV this morning for low tide, then realised BoPH were doing a Pop-up there in a hour. Only @myabambrick.bsky.social (with help from Liz!) and quite a good turn out. Bird highlights: an Osprey visit every hour, Peregrine, Common Sands, Whimbrel. Two Common Seals on the mud!

Before I left the Isle of May yesterday I spent a while watching this European Shag with three freshly hatched chicks 😮 Shags start breeding from 4-5 years old, laying between 1-6 eggs with 3-4 average. Chicks hatch completely naked!
