My!hū unifies fragmented climate and disaster data into one real-time global platform. It delivers clear, map-based insights across regions, turning complex data into simple intelligence so anyone can understand what’s happening on the planet instantly.

We’re using the word e-bike to describe too many things. Electric assist bikes are a version of bike & have many public interest benefits. But vehicles being driven by food delivery app drivers aren’t a form of bike…they’re a form of motorcycle. They don’t belong on sidewalks or pedestrian streets.

Picture of food delivery app driver, one of many, I see each day on downtown Vancouver’s Granville Street pedestrian zone. It’s a motor vehicle, and doesn’t belong on a vehicle-prohibited pedestrian street like Granville Street, and definitely not on sidewalks either.

When scientists say climate change means average temperatures will rise by 2 or 3 degrees, they don't mean that what was once a 20C summer's day becomes 22C. Weather will yo-yo ever more wildly: one week will bring cold and storms, the next a blistering drought. That's the harsh future.

Many UK birds are harmed by climate change: Upland species’ ranges are contracting; Phenological mismatch is affecting many; Ranges are moving north; Warming seas are damaging food chains; Drying soils reduce invertebrates; Winter visitors disappearing Approaches ignoring this WILL fail.🤷‍♂️

Rainforests are nearing a breaking point from mining & climate change, threatening global stability. We can't protect what we can't see. That’s why we’re building My!hū: a map-first platform for real-time environmental intelligence. app.myhu.world Read more: shorturl.at/OUP4a

Rainforests pushed to breaking point by new demands for resources, report says

Need for minerals, biofuels and pulp adding to pressures from ranching, monocrops, oil and logging, analysis finds

Every second, $6,000 in fossil fuel subsidies are handed out globally. That’s $5 trillion/year. Renewables? Barely a fraction. We have 6–7 years to halve emissions. The industry has zero years of conscience. Share if you’ve had enough. 🌍✊

This is depressing mostly because it shows how powerful pop culture is compared to education. The Flintstones helped normalize the image of humans living alongside dinosaurs, and if someone grows up with that as a “default mental picture,” it can stick even if they later learn otherwise.

dear Atheists: How is it that cavemen survived the asteroid but dinosaurs didn't?
Scientist: Social distancing, they stayed 65 million years apart.
