I did a thing. Took me 5 years of saving to do something with the backyard, but it's finally something nicer than a grass expanse. Contractors did a good job building a screened in deck and patio for me. No more getting attacked by mosquitoes for stepping outside!

I really need a game that takes the spline coasters and tracked rides of Planet Coaster and combines them with the grid and backstage elements of Parkitect. Oh, and add water parks because those are fun too. Every time I try to get into playing #PlanetCoaster2 I get so aggravated with buildings.

I think I can call it. Here's what I've been cooking with all these Dracthyr! Had this idea of my character telling- urh, singing a tale to his comrades for a long time and I feel quite happy how it turned out :D |- Song: "The Last Crystal Bearer" - Twilight Force (Mentions below!) #WoW #fanart

I feel like setting this in grey-scales based in deepness and coloring the eyes could save me some sanity. But tbh I would like to add eventually a color layer for something like this bsky.app/profile/itsb... ๐Ÿค” Anyways, @tristdragon.bsky.social and @kingmusicalmel.bsky.social alongside my Dracthyr!

A coworker submitted a report to me today that had a lot of mistakes in it. When I called them out on it they defensively insisted errors were AI hallucinations, not mistakes. Apparently hallucinations are "unintentional misinformation" and are therefore no big deal. WTF are we even doing anymore?

I watched the movie Greyhound last night. It was way better than I expected. The movie has a very specific focus in which it pulls off expertly -- to showcase the mental and physical toll of war during WW2. There's very little character development and backstories or other exposition. The movie ...

I watched the movie Disclosure Day last night. There was a story about how organizations and people would react to proof of alien visitation in there somewhere, but I don't think Spielberg managed to bring it to the surface. The movie reeked of development hell. The actors didn't command the ...

Wow, internal hard drive prices are just as absurd as RAM prices. I remember when tech used to decrease in price instead of increase by multiples. I noticed my NAS is getting full, but adding storage is not an option with current prices. Time to delete stuff and do some digital cleaning.

The Megaplex schedule looks fairly normal (checked today) so I'm not sure what the controversy is about. There are a couple panels missing that I expected to see, but nothing egregious. Some of the wild stuff I'm reading relating to the con does make me very nervous about attending though.

Sony PlayStation's claim that nobody wants physical media discs anymore reminds me of when Microsoft decided nobody wanted Windows' start menu. The dangerous thing about metrics, telemetry, and statistics is that they can be selectively interpreted to support some accomplishment-seeker's bad idea.

The Canadian wildfire smoke is crazy thick here in the Columbia, MD region today! The haze is so dense it affects things just across the street. The last time this happened was either 2023 or 2024 during Anthrocon. I will try to avoid humming that South Park song "Blame Canada." ๐Ÿ˜‡

Why do people not bother to get permits for home improvements? Aside from the cost, there's also the "we'll be there between 8 AM and 4 PM" and the "there should have been a rough-in because I can't tell if the ground is attached" and "I think you need a light outside this door." I felt like I...

Am I really considered "old school" for doing everything I can to avoid "breaking the magic" when fursuiting? Like I won't take off my head or show skin unless something is wrong, I'm overheating badly, or I'm in a lounge/non-public space.... or the Westin elevators skip my floor again!

I just skimmed an article about how an AI company discovered the "thoughts" in their model and named it J-Space. Wow. Congratulations. You've discovered debug statements and how to inspect memory in a running process. Woo hoo. I should make every little thing I do sound groundbreaking from now on.

Be sure to fill this out with thoughtful critiques! + Best dealers den ever + Registration improved from last year - Bad hotel booking experience again - Fat fur meet 18+ while muscle and macro were not - No backup plan for cancelled parade and block party - Excessive ID checks and bottlenecks

I've had a scratchy throat to start off this week. Feels like it's on the way out today. Not sure if con crud or overuse from talking louder in suit to be heard through all the padding and crowds. I hope everyone is doing well! My next con will be Megaplex. Afterwards, Capital FurCon. _Maybe_ ANE.

Rawr! Dragon is home from Anthrocon. Thank you all for helping make the experience fun and memorable! Hope I was able to return the favor! ๐Ÿ’› I'm really behind on messages and will catch up soon! Also, please let me know if you spot fursuit me in videos. I'll be looking too when I get the chance!
