I am fairly certain that kube rate limiters are broken. I am not seeing anyone use custom informer handlers to avoid using work queue.Add, and doing this bypasses any delayed queue or rate limit that has been set. And if informers do call AddRateLimited, you get extra delay if you have lots of kids

Folks that work from home: How do you stay connected to the culture of the company? Are you doing something specific? Are you feeling left out sometimes? Do you post ponies on US holidays?

I am finding a disconnect between what I think is interesting and should be built vs where the money is in our industry and I have a theory... Tech people build tech. You have a hard time selling tools to tech people because they build them. The money comes from selling magic to the non-technical.

And now we start doing the new scary but necessary things, like cold-emailing companies to ask for the opportunity to ask them about their Kubernetes pains. This product market is not going to fit itself 😅

I don't mind that bluesky is having growing pains. We support you! A little thing I used to say at Riot Games: "if there is a 1-in-a-million chance bug, we hit it 5 times a second"
