I suppose someone has to give systemd’s unpopularity a run for its money.

The worst AWS service isn't public. It's Isengard -- the internal tool that means Amazon's engineers never have to manage AWS the way customers do. If they had to live that pain, it'd get fixed. Open source it or stop using it. duckbillhq.com

Built an agentic EA to handle vendor pitch emails. Technically professional. HR couldn't fire someone for these responses but they'd be having some very uncomfortable conversations. Never felt more alive.

I gotta say. @quinnypig.com ‘s last week in AWS newsletter is still years later one of my most useful subscriptions I mean, it gave me me another “possible failure that can keep me up at night” story today but I still would rather know.
