🚧 £4m extra just approved to fix Oxfordshire's broken gullies - taking total investment to £9.42m over 2 years Now they've been cleared, the extra money is going into to fix the collapsed and broken structures where needed High-risk areas are now being cleaned annually, up from once every 4 years

Conservative leader Liam Walker called it “draconian” while Reform councillor Natalie King said she was “absolutely fumming”.

Oxfordshire is getting more money for walking and cycling. Active travel funding for Oxfordshire County Council has been confirmed at £5.4m a year for 2026/27 to 2029/30 by the Department for Transport, £4.1m for Capital and £1.3m for Revenue items such as capability and activation programmes.
Fantastic result! Well done Rob and the team :-D This ward will be part of the new Greater Oxford council area and gives a good indication of Labour's strength outside the city.

Last night (3rd July) between 10.50-11.30 my electric cargo bike was stolen. Black Pakyak E+ with a baby carrier. First time I’d taken it to town 🥹 . I parked it on the Plain roundabout near the Cape of Good Hope pub. Secured it with a Diamond grade lock. If you saw anything please let me know.

A motion in support of a ban on pavement parking was approved by Oxfordshire County Council in the full Council meeting yesterday, with 50 votes for and 1 abstention. It was raised by Cllr Bethia Thomas (LibDem, Faringdon).
