BBC main story across its outlets "we have found that an individual people smuggler is a criminal". Slow clap folks. What next? An expose on how the Pope is Catholic? It does not point to "widespread abuse" of the asylum system in any way, but they are desperate to claim it does.

You cannot address human trafficking without supporting & protecting survivors. The government's new Immigration & Asylum Bill does the opposite. A system that punishes survivors doesn't fight trafficking but enables it. We will keep fighting this. 📑 more: www.helenbamber.org/resources/la...
