Much talk in the UK at present around the rhetoric and direction of travel from #AndyBurnham and his #education team. Anything that delivers ‘parity of pathway’ in relation to #careers education is good. It does beg the Q of whether it’s time to reevaluate the very purpose of education now.

As capital operates everywhere, so should its ability to crush our objections. The many vicious anti-protest laws in the UK are an outcome of sustained lobbying by junktanks, the media and other governments.
I always wondered what it would take for the Telegraph to decide there might be a downside to climate breakdown. Well, now we know. Even so, this article manages not to mention it.
