i hate how much i feel my body starting to hate me when it's not myyyy fault that we landed and then had to wait an hour on the tarmac for a gate and be delayed getting home for two hours on 7 hrs of flight time 😬

i listened to Julie Doiron's first album when i was 19 and in one of the deepest depressions of my life so i've always associated her with that but i just met her at a zine fair and saw her perform with status/non status and she was so lovely and joyful and now i get this treasure trove of music

i'm at Sappyfest instead of whatever drama is happening at Pride in Van this weekend, but i did have an extreme fomo about how hot my partner looked for a dance party

trying to decide what timezone difference math game i wanna play...it's 3am here but only 11pm at home but i did get up at 6:30am (my hell) and was on planes and in the awful MTL airport all day and arrived at my destination at 11:30pm and no one Requires me until noon tomorrow...

Horror/thrillers from the last five years (i think they all are...) directed by women that have made me go "oh 👀?" Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow) Rose Glass (Saint Maud, Love Lies Bleeding) Emilie Blichfeldt (The Ugly Stepsister) Kaniehtiio Horn (Seeds) Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Bone Temple)

in a way, it's all actually a very normal state of being to feel so overexposed in the world and have everything feel like it's gone wrong. in a way...

i am the age of realizing i never thought being able to read and write in cursive would be such an increasingly uncommon skill i fucking love typing, but writing by hand has such a beautiful language of expressing tone and personal peculiarities in a practiced skill held through a lifetime
