Being forcibly unemployed has been fun. I really needed the rest. But it's nice to finally get back to work so I don't reduce all my savings to nothing again.

I start a new job next week and I'm apprehensive about it because I've not met with a single manager or anyone else I'm going to be working with during the entire hiring process. I'm to just show up on my first day. 🤷

Transphobia. Homophobia. Misogyny. They're all the same thing. The same bigotry rooted in hatred of anyone who steps beyond the narrow gender parameters established for them. The fight is the same fight. You cannot fight one without fighting them all.
I like how you can just see someone’s art and hit share so others see it and that’s all you need to do to be active on a site like this in a positive way. Don’t need to drop a hot take unless you think it’s really funny.
