The District line shut on our way to a trip meeting in Central London, forcing us to slog through three alternate stations for an hour to get there with a barely moving crowd of thousands, and my kids are like, this would NEVER happen in NY and I’m like just wait, sweet summer children. Just wait.

Absolutely this. You could talk about having a book coming out for months, constantly, and then release day will come and your feed will be nothing but I HAVE A BOOK OUT, and then a week later a very close mutual will be all “wait, I didn’t know you had a book out?”. So yes. Talk about your books!

Some days I look at older abandoned projects and wish folks could see some of the cool art and designs we made for them. Here's the cover to a pitch from one of two projects I dreamed up with Dan Fogler, with art by @dandougherty.bsky.social. I'd still love to write this one day, but enjoy the piece

So my thought about Doomsday after the new trailer: I have a sinking feeling the X-Men are barely in it, and that the opening bit has Doom destroying their universe before moving on to the MCUniverse we know, eliminating many of the “old” X-Men actors to make room for the “new” ones

My truest advice: luck is a much bigger factor than anyone cares to admit. Luck favours the prepared, *to an extent!* But not completely. You absolutely cannot take it personally. Take your lumps, cheer for your friends, and keep going.
