The thing I love about Star Wars series like The Ninth Jedi, besides how fantastic it is and how excited I am to get more of it, is that it populates that universe with more baddies completely hidden under dark armor. It really reframes the world of the original films.
One trope in sci fi that I always thought was odd was when a protagonist would blast the controls to something like a door, theoretically “locking it” for pursuing antagonists, or stopping some mechanical process. Aren’t there controls on the other side of the door?
Actually disgusting that nurses were treated like utter shit, overworked and dying during the pandemic and RFK on TV told everyone that didn't happen. I can't even imagine a more thankless, hostile job right now.
