Sony has addressed multiple questions regarding its decision to end physical disc production for PS5 games in January 2028. CFO Lin Tao reasoned that a large part of the business was already digital, and by discontinuing discs, “we don’t see that there will be any negative impact.”

I’m kinda starting to actually like AI. Before, it was a bit difficult to read companies if there is a genuine leadership intent to do some good or they are just doing the socially acceptable thing. Now I get advertised front and centre that I should avoid the thing and its makers.

Now that I think about it, some subsidies to get someone like STElectronics work with ASML to make some Ram modules for cheap leading to high sells because they cheaper than the Ram cartel sound like a cool plan to get EU into chip production.

I kinda start to wonder if the trick for future consoles would actually be to go back to entirely custom hardware to workaround the ram cartel.

I swear, as a European I often find myself feel genuinely tired of USA. Between softpower that tramples my local cultures (almost always with stuff that is basically "picked that european thing 150 years ago and made it bad" 😭) or the constant stream of bad news... I'm so so tired.

I'm not sure how/why but thank you EU for keeping me from that shower of AI bullshit from Apple. (Yes there is no irony in that post. I genuinely love that I won't have to go through settings and workaround to disable all that shit)

Sometimes you write a tiny little thing in a couple of minutes and it’s just one task among others during a very very busy day but you find out it lands just right. Anyway, yeah, I came up with that and yes, this was 100% my intent.
