Well, I've finally made the switch. My desktop is now CachyOS and I've ditched Windows 11 and the cesspit of ads, marketing and forced AI altogether. It's impressive how far Linux has come in the last few years. I was able to get just about everything set up in around 4 hours last night.

It's very important to let everyone know that Tomodachi Life without prompting made me eat an entire photorealistic haggis and I don't know if I should feel called out or honoured.

In case anyone isn't aware yet, keep away from Glasgow city centre if you can at all. The train station is up in flames and it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. If you're travelling through the city, go around instead or delay your plans. McGill's buses is taking existing train tickets.
