Families waited two years, some longer, to bury them. More than 8,000 people remain missing under the rubble, he says. Israel continues blocking heavy machinery needed to recover bodies, according to civil defense teams. Al-Bursh called for Israel to stop blocking rescue equipment, forensic supplies, and DNA testing to identify the dead. He also accused Israel of mixing human remains with rubble, warning that this risks destroying evidence. In the southern city of Rafah, he said, bones have become mingled with debris. I knew today was going to be big. I didn’t know we’d have so many volunteers that we’d leaflet the ENTIRE constituency in just two hours (!!) - 80,000 leaflets. And we got to speak to so many people on their doorsteps. This is how we win this campaign. Thank you, everyone. 🙏🏽
