why draw from life when I can google frazetta sketches, a term as broad as the ocean, and always get what I need in like the 5th image
There is one software I love on a parasocial level and it's PureRef. If it were a creature I'd kiss it lovingly on the head every night. It holds all my pictures, it knows all my inspirations,, no ads, no subscription, I even got it for free when I was broke, it's soul is gentle and pure

I used to have to scour for hours for commercial free fonts with flair to them but Pixel Surplus makes it a little easier and some fonts are much cheaper. Google Fonts is also another solid option where localisation is considered [ty Noto Sans], and Gumroad for display fonts.

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
Truly you just have to focus on having fun instead of if other people will like it bcnobody really hates someone else's oc, the worst anyone feels is nothing I'm personally driven by just wanting to share their stories because I love them and it's a rare area of my life that I believe wholly in.

I want to get into it because it sounds fun and I love others OC/Canon, but a stupid, tiny voice in my head starts telling me Im cringe. Which I don't think that, but if you got a life hack to shut that voice up, I wanna know.

I've had my dialogue praised a lot and writing dialogue is really the only thing that's made be super bashful often lol. But I know that if I feel that way then I better write it because I know it means I've found something good.
Related to knowing how to talk about art, but I clock a lot of irreverence and self-deprecation over one's art as a mask for being embarrassed at feeling too strongly or a piece feeling too vulnerable. Feelings are tough! But I want people to honor their own work and see their full vision realized
Making your lineart a shade of brown and setting it to Multiply can make it look more cohesive Also your ergonomic chair will be one of your most important purchases. Learn good posture and get a sit/stand desk if you can

a couple years ago I accidently gave myself Lord Farquaad's haircut (it was bad) To make myself feel better I dressed up nicely and took some pretty pictures of myself. Now I look back at those pictures and think "huh that wasn't so bad!" but I know it's a lie, I must resist this haircut, oh no I-
